It is my great privilege and pleasure to invite you to participate in our First International Paediatric & Adolescent Sleep Disorders Course and Symposium which will be held at the Riyadh Military Hospital in the period from 4th to 6th April 2009.
Medical knowledge both in research and clinical practice has been expanding at a rapid pace over the last few decades, with more complex modalities of investigation and treatment. This meeting presents an opportunity to discuss our experiences, current trends in the management of sleep disorders in children and adolescents, with our colleagues both here in the Kingdom and from overseas, who are caring for paediatric patients.
The symposium is designed to present a number of state-of-the-art topics in the field of Paediatric & adolescents sleep medicine. The faculty will include recognized world and local leaders in their respective fields, who will not only report on major advances, but will also emphasize their personal experience.

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of both the Organizing and Scientific Committees, it is our opportunity and pleasure to extend to you an invitation to participate in the First International Paediatric & Adolescent Sleep Disorders
Course and Symposium. The symposium will be hosted by the Department of Medical Studies in association with the Department of Paediatrics at the Riyadh Military Hospital, Saudi Arabia, from 5th to 6th April 2009. The Symposium will be preceded on Saturday the 4th of April 2009 by the Postgraduate Sleep Medicine Course and Workshop.
The Paediatric Department has dedicated itself to regularly organizing symposias in child heath. This will give us the opportunity to explore the latest information in the fascinating field of pediatric sleep and breathing disorders.
During this meeting, we will have a number of distinguished international guest speakers who will review the latest research, and provide practical information on subjects from circadian rhythm disorders and narcolepsy to OSA and SIDS, as well as sleep disturbances in children with chronic medical illnesses.
This Symposium is the first of its kind outside North America. It is designed for a wide spectrum of clinicians, nurses, therapists, technicians and health care givers in the field of Pediatrics and Adolescent medicine.
