The Nursing Academy has the overall responsibility for providing comprehensive educational and research services to student population both male and female as well as nursing staff. These services are provided by using a variety of teaching and learning method appropriate to target population. Primary service categories include orientation, education programs linked to Saudi Council requirements. Programs are designed to promote staff development at all levels via formal classroom instructions, clinical education and consultation.

Nursing Academy is primarily responsible for providing diploma programs for Saudi students, and facilitates clinical training opportunities for nursing students. Classroom instruction, preceptors and clinical facilities are also provided to individuals from external agencies seeking educational experiences. Courses are designed and / or taught by NA educators. Saudization of various health care positions within the Nursing practice is the major focus of the services provided by the Academy.
