The Post-graduate critical care nursing diploma program is designed to prepare nurses to work competently in critical care areas at a national or international level. It will, therefore, help to meet the health requirements of KSA population, increase the number of specialist nurses in KSA and work towards accelerating the Saudization of nursing positions in the kingdom. 

The first group of Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Care started on December 3rd, 2005, and completed their courses on 12 December 2006. The overall final evaluation of the program was very good.
